AAT ICAS Basilicum-2027-AAT ICAS identity graphics usage guidelines

This document describes normative and administrative AAT ICAS usage guidelines for the use of ICAS identity graphics. Please refer to AAT ICAS Basilicum-2020 for additional important usage guidelines.

usage of AAT ICAS identity graphics

ICAS licensees may refer to AAT ICAS Basilicum-2060 for information about the use of official ICAS identity graphics that are designated for use by licensees for purposes of communicating conformance with ICAS. Online uses of official ICAS identity graphics should not be resized nor altered in any way without prior approval from AAT ICAS. Printed or typeset uses of ICAS identity graphics, such as print color or for quality enlargements or reductions proportional to use, may otherwise be made without prior approval by ICAS licensees. Any other uses of ICAS identity graphics may require AAT ICAS approval.

Licensees may develop graphics for use with ICAS applications, methods, and documents however graphics should represent the licensee use or licensee identity and not ICAS identity. An exception may be made for approved localization or administrative licensees.

Licensees should consider the development of quality graphics in support of usable design. Key ICAS identity terms should be set in serif or sans-serif type faces in a dark blue color or in black upon a light background, unless particular instance of use is entirely in another color or scheme of colors. Representation of ICAS identity terms should reflect ICAS conventions for usage of capitals and lower-case characters.

special note: certain AAT ICAS graphics have previously represented ICAS in terms of lower-cased letters. The stylistic application of alternative schemes of capitalization or lower-casing to graphics depicting ICAS terms must only be used distinct from text-based expressions of ICAS terms. Licensees should obtain approval from AAT ICAS before using alternative schemes of capitalization or lower-casing for ICAS graphics.
