IDC radialL analog interface specification

this document describes AAT ICAS design specifications for the IDC radialL analog interface. ICAS IDC radialL is specified for a limited implementation of the AAT ICAS 2120-radialDAI decimal analog interface specification. the radialL dial is based on a major unit phase of 50 major units per main unit, thus limiting conditions for unitary decimalization and indicialization of the dial units.

top

dial identification

strict implementation of radialXL interface requires a dial identifier such as any of the following: 'L', 'dialL'. 'FH', 'dialFH', 'FifthHubble', or 'dialFifthHubble'.

top

dial indices

strict implementation of radialL interface requires a system of dial indices consistent with AAT ICAS 2120.

* systems of 50 and 20 indices can be superimposed on a system of 100 indices, however impose certain labeling considerations.

unit phasing

strict implementation of radialL interface requires a system of unit phasing consistent with AAT ICAS 2120. all units are phased to the top indice at t000 tt000 IDC and cycle at the following rates:

completion of minor unit phase advances major unit phase 1 major unit segment.
subminor unit completion of subminor unit phase advances minor unit phase 1 minor unit segment.

particular pointers may rotate continuously or incrementally (please see AAT ICAS 2210).
