this document describes some examples of ICAS conformance resource statements. ICAS conformance resources can be applied as ICAS features to ensure conformance with an effective version of ICAS. use of ICAS conformance resources does not necessarily constitute conformance with an AAT ICAS standard. in addition, use of other resources may be used to support conformance to an AAT ICAS standard. AAT ICAS conformance resources are not a substitute for other applicable guidelines. resources are subject to change. please refer to AAT ICAS 2060 for additional important information.

- ICAS standards documents for an effective version are not necessarily intended as general training documents.
- certain features of ICAS may not yet be fully developed or described. users should use prudent common sense in the use of ICAS for cases not addressed in AAT ICAS standards documents. ICAS and its terms of use are subject to change by AAT.
- as a matter of good software programming practice, new processes or applications should first be tested in a non-operational environment, so that bugs or other problems can be resolved, prior to use in an operational setting. other standards for particular situations of use or areas of practice may also apply.

- apply correct year to determine particular Gregorian calendar or Uniform Calendar date. Gregorian calendar years can be referenced as 'UCA' for Uniform Calendar dates and 'AD' for Gregorian calendar dates. Gregorian weekdays are referenced for the year and month specified.
- apply correct dial unit and local time zone to determine particular IDC or SMH time.
- certain documents may reference prior versions of ICAS date or time scales that are not supported by an effective version of AAT ICAS. any features of prior ICAS versions that are not supported by the effective version can be considered to be deprecated. questions may be directed to [name or title of designee].
- the unit of the second and the unit of the tikochron are not equal magnitudes. 1 tikochron equals 0.864 second: 1 tiXn = 0.864 s.
- metric usage note: short form expressions of coordinating prefixes for 'ten' and 'hundred' are used in reference to ICAS standards of usage and style.
- metric usage note: references to time-derived units are specified in terms of ICAS units. 1 solana equals (0.864-1) hertz. 1 hertz equals 0.864 solana.
- metric usage note: references to time-derived units are specified in terms of ICAS units per table 1300.1
- IMPORTANT: only use or modify this document if you can accept and will also agree to adhere to terms of use for 'ICAS now'!!! You may wish to print this 'terms' worksheet for reference in using the spreadsheet.
- extensibility of this document to uniform or traditional scales of calendar and clock is subject to limitations. this document is not fully annotated. the publisher reserves the right to change or update the freeware or these terms.
- be sure to check the validity of the resulting data if modifications are made.
- do not modify layout or formatting unless you are sure that you want to modify layout or formatting.
- content throughout the spreadsheet/application/document reference a variety of fixed or date-calculated values. be careful not to break a cell-value reference unless you are sure that you want to remove the cell-value reference.
- Uniform Calendar organizers are an essential part of an ICAS metrication kit. for convenient reference of calendar information; keep copies of organizers for common and leap, even and odd calendar years.
