aaticas global elements
this document describes global elements in the aaticas namespace (AAT ICAS 3030) specified for uses of ICAS.

the system, developer, and local elements are parent set element types and members of this set are parents of all other elements in the aaticas namespace:
<aaticas:system> | 'ICAS', 'IDC', 'NC', 'NDN', 'UC', 'SMH', 'JD', 'G', and so forth. | the system element denotes the particular clock or calendar system represented by a particular format. Value 'ICAS' is appropriate term for use with multiple ICAS systems. |
<aaticas:developer> | 'AAT ICAS', and so forth. | the developer element denotes a description of an ICAS developer (developer, localization, administrative, or other licensee). |
<aaticas:local> | 'localEnglish', and so forth. | the local element denotes a description of an ICAS localization that is unique for a particular developer element. |
the etype, etypeCase, etypeID, etypeNote, etypeTag, and etypeUse elements are parent elements of all ICAS element set types (localization, term, character, and format set). readers should note that ICAS follows the convention for the use of lowercase terms for element names for ICAS systems (with an initial capital for certain second words). in contrast, certain element names for traditional time and date systems are represented by capital letters, and readers should refer to ISO 8601 for further information about conventions for notation of traditional scale formats. case sensitivity of elements in the aaticas namespace is specified by the etypeCase element that is modeled on methods of case information for basic HTML data types:
<aaticas:etypeCase> | 'cs', 'ci', 'cn', 'ca', and 'ct' | the etypeCase element denotes case attributes for aaticas elements: 'cs' denotes case-sensitive ('a' and 'A' are parsed as different); 'ci' denotes case-insensitivity ('a' and 'A' are parsed as identical); 'cn' denotes not subject to case (for example, number characters or special characters); 'ca' denotes element or attribute indicates case information; 'ct' denotes reference to type definition for information about case. |
<aaticas:etype> | 'localization', 'term', 'character', 'format', and so forth. | the etype element denotes an ICAS element type (localization, term, character, or format set). |
<aaticas:etypeTag> | 'loc', 'term', 'char', 'for', and so forth. | the etypeTag element denotes an ICAS element type (localization, term, character, or format set) in short form. |
<aaticas:subtype> | 'local', 'decade', 'month', 'dial', 'block', 'clock', 'char', and so forth. | the subtypeTag element denotes an ICAS element sub-level type resource (term, character, or format set) in short form. |
<aaticas:etypeID> | 'localEnglish', 'blockSpectrum', 'charFormat', 'formatUniform', and so forth. | the etypeID element denotes an ICAS element type (localization, term, character, or format set) that is unique for a particular ICAS localization, and is expressed by concatenation after the subtype or subtypeTag element. |
<aaticas:etypeUse> | 'data', 'human-readable', 'speakable', 'multi', and so forth. | the etypeUse element denotes the use of a particular resource for purposes of data-interchange or human-use. |
<aaticas:etypeNote> | the etypeNote element denotes a descriptive note for a particular element type set.
the metaCat, metaName, metaTag, sayName, sayTag, sayAlt, sayNote, and setseq elements are parents of all set elements in the aaticas element set types:
<aaticas:metaCat> | 'uniform month set', 'dial set', and so forth. | the metaCat element denotes canonical description of essential category of set members for metaName elements. |
<aaticas:metaName> | 'uniform month 01', 'dialDecimal', and so forth. | the metaName element denotes canonical description of a metaName set member in long form. |
<aaticas:metaTag> | 'um01', 'dialDEC', and so forth. | the metaTag element denotes canonical description of a metaName set member in short form. |
<aaticas:sayName> | 'A', 'dialDecimal', and so forth. | the sayName element denotes a normative description in long form correspondent to a metaName set member. |
<aaticas:sayTag> | 'A', 'DEC', and so forth. | the sayTag element denotes a normative description in long form correspondent to a metaName set member. |
<aaticas:sayAlt> | 'dialPercent', 'dialXX', 'dialXL', and so forth. | the sayAlt element denotes an alternate normative description correspondent to a metaName set member. |
<aaticas:sayNote> | 'chron is not an SI unit', and so forth. | the sayNote element denotes a special note correspondent to a metaName set member. |
<aaticas:setseq> | '0', '1', '2', . . . '29', and so forth. | the setseq element denotes sequence or order of member in set. element may also denote a unique identifier number independent of sequence. |
